A Letter from the President

In Micronesia today, there are over 10,000 mercenaries searching for acceptance, and that number is growing every day. As President of MERCY, and a former adoptee in the program, I can tell you first-hand how much your time and attention can mean to a embattled soldier-for-hire. My sponsor gave me the compassion I had been missing since I was a child. Had I needed to endure those harsh jungles and showers of seemingly endless machine gun fire without knowing that someone out there cared about me and would miss me when I died, I would not be here today. I owe my life to MERCY, and today I ask you to do for another what my sponsor did for me.

Our adoption candidates are faced with the daunting task of defeating one of the most accomplished enemies in the world. A relentless opponent, Jack Carver is a veritable one-man army, dually capable of cat-like stealth attacks and fierce toe-to-toe combat. His impossible control over his movement, his pinpoint accuracy and his sheer cunning has kept a steady flow of mercenaries through local morgues for what seems like an eternity. Without your help, thousands of soldiers will be at risk of living meaningless, loveless existences before meeting the all too likely fate of those in their line of work. Through MERCY you will establish meaningful, heartfelt relationships with these soldiers and have the opportunity to make a real difference in their life.

MERCY is a sponsored organization, and we are not asking for monetary donations. We simply ask that you take some time out of your day to share your affection with those in need.

My Many Thanks,

Manfred "Mack" Grizzard

Mack Grizzard is the President and Chief Executive Officer of MERCY. A graduate of an elite military academy, Grizzard served nearly ten years in the special forces before going underground. Until late 2005 he was First Lieutenant in a private soldier corps in Micronesia. Mere weeks after being adopted as the fifth mercenary ever to participate in the MERCY program, he suffered a near-fatal encounter at the hands of Jack Carver. By virtue of the love and understanding of his adoptive parent, Grizzard found the will to make drastic changes in his life. He returned to the U.S. and dedicated his life to the humanitarian cause of mercenaries around the world.

Mr. Grizzard currently serves on several non-profit organization boards , such as the Association for the Rehabilitation of Ninjas (AFRONt) and Chairman of the Organization for the Advancement and Unity of Retired Assassins (AURA). Since becoming President and CEO of MERCY he has overseen the adoption of tens of thousands of mercenaries worldwide.
